Global Macro Scoreboard

Global Macro Scoreboard: February 11, 2018

Last week, global online audiences turned their attention toward Brexit and the U.S. stock market, after volatility returned with a vengeance. Not coincidentally, interest surged in central banks, including the Bank of Japan, U.S. Fed, and the European Central Bank.

The score on the left denotes the percentage share an issue captured of the weekly total upswing in digital attention across all major macro issues. For example, Brexit accounted for nearly 17 percent of the total increase in online attention to market-moving macro issues over the course of the week.
